Atherosclerosis clinic

A clinic supported by the latest microcatheters and air balloons to dilate atherosclerotic arteries under safe local anesthesia.

About the clinic

Atherosclerosis results from the accumulation of cholesterol and fat particles on the walls of the internal arteries, which causes their narrowing or blockage – in advanced cases – and thus the blood supply to the organ connected to the damaged arteries is weakened. In our clinic specializing in the treatment of atherosclerosis at the Vascular Art Center, we treat cases of atherosclerosis by widening narrow or blocked arteries with the help of therapeutic catheters, and using stents or pneumatic balloons in order to keep the damaged arteries open and prevent them from becoming blocked again.

  • We rely on local anesthesia only and do not resort to general anesthesia in applying any of the therapeutic procedures inside the clinic
  • We use the finest types of diagnostic and therapeutic catheters
  • We follow a comprehensive and accurate diagnostic program to examine all arteries in the body
  • We have a department dedicated to conducting analyzes and examinations aimed at measuring the level of blood fluidity and the level of cholesterol in the blood
  • We have the latest air balloons used to dilate blocked and hardened veins
  • We provide periodic medical follow-up service for patients throughout the recovery phase under the supervision of our specialized doctors
